Rain Cloud in a Jar: A Fun and Easy Science Experiment for Kids

Rain cloud in a jar is a fun and easy science experiment for kids. This experiment teaches how rain clouds are form, and the meaning of precipitation, evaporation and condensation.
Materials used:

Materials
- A clear jar
- Shaving cream
- Food colouring
- Water
- Measuring cup
Rain cloud video โฌ๏ธ Explanation:
Rain clouds form when drops of water condense together like gas, this is called condensation.
These water droplets fall to the earth in a form of liquid or solid, for example rain, snow, or ice. This is called precipitation.
On a warm day, water on the earth surface dries out. This is called evaporation.
The whole cycle will start again.
Instructions:
Pour water in a clear jar, leave some space for the shaving cream.
Spray some shaving cream to float on top. The water may become a little cloudy.
Measure a tablespoon of water in a measuring cup.
Add 2 drops of blue food colouring in the measuring cup.
