Magnetic Space Slime

A fun science experiment for everyone.

*Adult supervision is required.

What I used:

Items

2 bottles of 147mL Clear Glue

1/4 cup shampoo

1 to 2 Tablespoons of contact lenses solution

3 Tablespoons of baking soda

Few drops of baby oil

Few drops of food colouring

Glitter

1 Tablespoon iron filings

Round magnets with a sticky side

Measuring cups and spoons

Mixing bowl

Aluminum tray

Space toys

Instructions:

Magnetic Slime Video

Pour glue in a bowl. Add the shampoo, baking soda, solution and mix well.

Add few drops of baby oil.

Add some food colouring ( I used more blue and a little bit of green), then add glitter and iron filings.

Attach some magnets under the aluminum tray and spread out the slime on the tray.

Also attached some magnets under the space toys.

Tips*:

*Add more solution if the mixture is too sticky.

*Add more baking soda if the mixture is too slimy.
